How much do silkie chicks go for?

I have some that just hatched and I also have some that are about 2 months old that I need to sell.

Most are pet quality.

I really don't want to ship them. I worry about the safety in that!

Not yet, I plan to though, as soon as I figure out a good price.

I was thinking $5 for the newborns and $10 for the 2-3 month olds.

Does that sound too low or right on?

I don't want to undercut the market, but I don't want to not have these babies sold.

I also have a red hen that I def. need to sell, I was going to try and get $20 for her and the white roo together. Both are pet quality. But I haven't had anyone really interested.

I think I've only driven through there maybe 3 times in my more than 20 years here!

Best to check out your local market. Here pet quality goes for 5-7 for chicks to month old, point of lay are 15 and up for just pet quality.
