Well, I'm getting baby chicks tomorrow! I was wondering how big of a bag of feed I need for 3-4 chicks? I wasn't quite sure how much to get...[IMG]

For that few baby chicks, I suggest buy a small bag such as 5 lbs.. If you can get 10 lbs, that is probably good. Buy another when it runs out. Yes it costs more per lb., but large amounts can go moldy.

I second that. I saw a post where another person puts the feeder in the center of a cake pan to catch the food they throw around.

LF is large fowl as opposed to bantam fowl.
