How much space do baby peeps need?

Hi everyone...Im writing a paper on hand raising peeps. I have forgotten what the actual dimensions are per peep when you first bring them home...thanks in advance for your time and help. Good day to you all

I heard 2 squar feet per chick but I am very new so my info could be wrong .

2 square feet would be a lot. Chicks only need about 1/4 of a square foot until they are about 2 weeks old. Then until they are a month they need about 1/2. Chickens need about 2 feet when they are like 2 months old.
