How much water does an individual gosling need?

How much water do I need to feed my goslings/geese? I give them (2) about 4 cups of water through the night and 4 cups a few times a day. They do get opportunities to swim for a while twice a day, but I mean when the are in their container. One is 1 month old and one is about 20 days old at this point, but I'm more interested in as adults, when not free ranging but contained for whatever reason, how much water do they need? Geese should have free access to water at all times.

What sourland said. Geese are water fowl. They practically live in it and need it anytime to clear their nostrils after eating and to assist while eating.
