I know. I wouldn't buy one for over $5. How much were you thinking of selling them for?

$80?! For a chicken? Sorry, but I would never pay that much. They sell them online at a hatchery for $5.99, and that's one of their expensive breeds.

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. If someone has offered you $80, I would take the money and run. You can buy 16 Icelandic chicks for that price. Please feel free to ask any other questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck in selling your chickens.

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! X4, $80 for a GLW? Take it and run. Prices will vary depending on a lot of things, your location, the breed, the quality of the bird etc etc ... here $15-$20 would be reasonable for an adult GLW, .. proven show birds etc can of course go a lot higher.
