How old an what breed are these chicks

    [​IMG] how old does these chicks look and what breed they were given to me the man doesn't know anything about them he got them on a trade

    Not sure on the breed, it could be a egg production bird but i don't know, and how old, its pretty hard to tell but I'm thinking around 10 weeks old or somewhere around there[​IMG]

    They sort of look like Buff Orpingtons to me, though I'm not positive on age. Sure are pretty, though! [​IMG]

    I agree they look like buff Orpington, my guess is around 10 weeks.

    I don't think they are buff orps but, maybe it's because the photo is so dark. One is starting to sprout a red upright comb

    I can take a better pic he told me there all hen the person ordered a bunch of chicks from a hatchery

    Here's my buff Orpington pullet hatched May 23 for comparison. Yours has white legs too. Yours also still have white down showing through.

    Probably hatchery buff Orps. I was thinking around 2-3 months also.
