My girls are 6 and 7 years old. I'm hoping to raise another flock since I'm down to two hens but I'm thinking they may be too old to go broody. For the hens that go broody (some never do), how old are they when they typically stop? Thanks.

I don't know about the age thing, but if they're too old, you could get an incubator or buy pre-hatched chicks.

If they are still laying it's possible they could go broody if they ever have before.
I wouldn't count on it tho...buy some chicks.
