We got these three girls (they are girls, right?) about six weeks ago. At that time, all the combs were yellow and they looked kind of dinosaury. This is one now.

I have another group picture I will upload later. All three are about the same stage of development. I notice a shine on this one's feathers this morning when they went out to range. Could it be a rooster, or is it just a healthy hen?

About how old would you say? I'm thinking 4 months or so? No eggs yet, how much longer?

I love them. They are Mona, Maybelline and Lucille.

I'm going to guess that is a 4 to 5 month old BO who is about to lay, from the reddened comb and wattles.

If they have white legs, that is.

OK, shot today:

Lucille (left) Mona (right):

Mona, the lead hen or otherwise maybe a Manny, stalking:

Three chicks chillin' - Mona roosting on the chair, Maybelline on the left (she is such a goof) Lucille on the right.

Finally, all three in a row:

Left to right, I think, Lucille, Mona, Maybelline.

Is this OK for a decent ID?
