Hello all, I bought chicks from tractor supply when they were very small and I totally forgot how long ago that was, lol.I know it was close to if not more than a month ago. I just don't remember the exact day. They are starting to get the red crowns on top of their heads. I included a pic I took on March 20th

    Your photo didn't post.

But you can assume your chicks are already over a month old. You can be sure of that if they have no down left, especially on the heads. They should be completely feathered out and no longer need any heat source. If you have their coop ready for them, it's time to move them in.

Why don't you fill out your profile and we will know what your climate is like, and can further advise you on the move.

I notice that this was your first post. Try posting a few more and then trying again with a more recent photo (9 days is a relatively long time in chick feathering development).
