Hello and welcome to BYC [IMG] If she's laying she'll be at least 5 months old. It's hard to tell the age with mature chickens, but what you can do is look at their feet. If the scales are small, smooth even and flat, she's young still.

Welcome to BYC! I have little experience aging chickens - any way you can post a pic? Good luck to you!

my husband saved this pair of chickens from being eaten by a pit bull in the city....does anyone know what breed they are or how old they look? we've had them for only two days.
