How old is your oldest chicken?

    I am interested to know how old a chicken can live for.

    My oldest one is only 5 years old and still looks good.

    How old is you oldest chicken?

    I have a cockerel whos 9 in May:

    A ex batt called Babs who is 7 in May:

    And a ex batt Ginger who is 7 in May:
    [​IMG]
    The rest are all 3 years and younger :)

    Wow. They all look really healthy and I would never guess they are that old. Do the hens still lay eggs for you?

    They lay about one a week in good weather :)

    at least 6 years old. I got her at a swap 5 years ago, and she looked kinda old then too. [​IMG]
