I have two Roosters that I have been thinking about butchering. How long before they are full grown and are adult Roosters? How old before they should be butchered? I'm not sure of the breed. When I got the eggs I was told they were Rhode Island Whites but everyone here says they are not and are either Amber Link or Red Sex-Link roosters. Right now they are about 6 months old and really big. Whats the general rule of thumb for butchering chickens when it comes to age?
