How old to these Australorps look to you?

    The hens have filled out but haven't started laying yet, but I think one just did. I got a little egg the other day.
    There was a roo in the group (rescued, long story, good ending though) and he is a beautiful, big roo. [​IMG]

    I just want to know how old they are so I can know if they are close to laying or not.

    if their combs are getting red and full, then they're close to laying. well, the ladies anyway.

    My guess would be 20 - 22 weeks. They should be laying very soon!

    Mines 23 weeks and looks like your younger pictures [​IMG] and she is a pain in my @$$ her and my CW they make me soo [​IMG] my SLW is laying age and a doll and my Wellie well she has an attitude problem but nice my Austrolorp and CW are just so aggrivating my poor roo is stuck with em too mean girls
