I have an austrolorpe that is about 5 months old. If anyone has one laying, how old was she when she laid her first one?

I had one that started laying at 17 weeks, another at 19 weeks and 2 more that are close to laying but probably still have a week or 2 before they do. That would make them 22 - 23 weeks old.

The best I can figure she should be about 20-21 weeks, I was told she hatched at the end of may. [IMG]

Mine is 20-21 weeks and she's not showing many signs. I checked her abdomen and her bones are still pretty close together, and her tummy isn't soft like my wyandotte who laid her first shell-less egg today.

Mine was the last hen to lay. I think she was 23&1/2 weeks.
