I got 4 chicks a week ago from today. 2 Barred Rock and 2 Lavender Orpingtons.
I am somewhat convinced the orpingtons are roosters but mainly one. I'm not sure if it's too young but one in particular is showing so much personality! It doesn't like to be held, has to be the first to eat, can be pushy, alert kconstantly stretching its neck and looking around while the other chicks are content), and if I remove any of the chicks it loudly chirps until I bring them back.
It's name is Amber...
It's very exciting to watch but is it too early to determine their personality at 1 week?
