How strict is protein percentage??

So my Honey bought a huge bag of the wrong percent food......
What's the difference between percentages and JUST how important is 24% vs 20% starter chick feed?????
Our new hens are just days old and I'd HATE to harm them!!!!

Feed it, they'll be fine. In fact they'll do better on the higher protein feed.
