Hey everyone, Im entering my Pekin duck at a poultry show. Her feathers are clean and all but how do you bring out her white feathers even more? What I mean is, how do you make her feathers whiter than they already are and not to mention shiner; thanks! :D:

Wash with a pet safe whitening shampoo. It's available at most pet supply stores, in the grooming section.

Just a tip- add some Vaseline or coconut oil to her bill and feet to give her an extra shine. Good luck at the show!

Also don't feed her any corn- this can give their feathers a yellow tinge.

I wonder what this does to the natural oils in the feathers? I'd say it may take some time for her to get oiled back up after the show.

As I was told it is very mild.....?......The soda whitens the feathers and the Baby shampoo washes them....The shampoo is diluted....

    Cheers!
