How to Get Eggs that Contain Omega 3

Is there a type of feed or supplement you can feed your hens to get eggs that contain Omega 3?

Eggs from pasture raised chickens have lots of Omega 3 fatty acids.
Let them eat grass.

I have never used this before, but I found this forage mix a couple months ago. You might be able to order the various components separately cheaper though, especially if you need a large quantity.

Flaxseed!

It will increase the Omega 3s in your eggs a TON!

But, if you're eating the eggs yourself (vs. selling them as high Omega 3 eggs) it's much more cost effective to eat the flaxseed then to feed it to chickens.
