Our duck run has one wall that runs along a side of our garage and another that is a 6 foot wooden fence that runs along the property line. There are an endless amount of leaves that fall from huge trees in our neighbors’ yards. We are about to build a roof over the run, but aren’t sure how to keep the leaves from weighing the roof down or how to clear the leaves off of it. The run in total is around 60 feet long and 5-10 foot wide depending on the area so it seems impossible to be able to clean the roof regularly (except maybe a leaf blower?). Does anyone have any ideas how to keep it cleared off?

We have deer netting over our duck run. Leaves and sticks do make things difficult. My husband uses the leaf blower from underneath. It's a pain.
Not sure how else to get them off.

If you use metal roofing and install it at a good slope the leaves should mostly slide off.

You might use a roof rake, like people use for snow removal?
Thank you for the idea, 😊 it would be great if we were using solid metal but we are making it out of hardware cloth.
