How to remove human hair entangled on chicks feet.

My 6 week old chicken managed to get some human hair tangled around one of his toes. I managed to get most of it off but being that the hair is so tightly wrapped around his toe I'm going to need to find a better solution than just scissors. Would using hair remover harm him?

Hair remover works on the follicle of hair, so it will do nothing on an unattached hair except give the chick some chemical burns. Can you find something like a seam ripper, or smaller nail scissor? You need to cut it off or untangle it. Maybe tweezers? If the toe is cold it may end up falling off.

I personally would use nail clippers instead of scissors. It might be easy to get it off that way. I hope your chicken feels better soon.
