How to sexs a chick anyone really know

Hi anyone really know how to sex young chick's?? I have Orbingtons and even at 6/8 weeks old they are not nessicerilly that easy to sexs from comb's and feathers. Combes on females can be quite red and large and they have lots of feathers.

From a previous hatch I had 5 chicks 2 cockrells and three hens until they were truly feathered up and all ready out in my field. So 16 weeks old or so could I really start to tell who was a boy and who was a girl

So does anyone really know??

Just a thought...check their legs and see if there are bumps coming out where spurs usually are. They should be old enough to tell you.

Sorry trying to sex a 3 day old chick my orpington are now 28wks old and I know who's a boy and whos a girl (the morning call gives it away)
