How to tel the gender of ducks,chicks,and chickens

    To tell the gender of a chick you need to look at the wing and look at the feathers.for a girl the tip feathers won't be much longer than the others.and for boys the tip feathers will be much longer than the rest.






    This is a girl.i have no boys so I couldnt show a picture[​IMG]

    Feather sexing only works on birds that are crossed to carry that trait. You can research it on the Sex linked information thread.

    Ok I didn't know that but it works perfectly on my chicks
