I have bought a jersey giant roo this spring, in the middle of March. He is about 6-7 months old now. He is a bit larger than all of my hens. He has began currently crowing and breeding now. I have been wandering if he has done growing... He is way too small do be a definite full grown jersey. His feet bottoms are somewhat of a creamy yellow and have reddish sides to his feet. All of these attributes tell me that he may not be a purebred giant, as I have heard that some other breed that I don't recall the name have red bottoms.... Another side tells me that he is still just growing because his spurs are about halfway done developing and he is now starting to develop a deeper bigger body so I'm not totally sure... I would appreciate any feed back. Thanks!
