    Two questions:
    1. Got some peeps at Tractor supply yesterday, 4 red sexlinks and 4 gold ...somethings. I am curious to be able to figure out how old they are. They all look the same to me, except one set has little wing feathers about an inch long, the other set's are slightly shorter.

    2. What is a usual wake and sleep cycle for the peeps? it seems like they run around for a few minutes, then on some invisible cue, all get in a bunch and fall over asleep. The kids are of course wild to hold them, but I am not letting them interact too much, maybe 5-10 minutes at a time, a few times per day, as I don't want to wear the babies out.

    Thanks!

Their probably 3 days old. TSC gets their chicks on Monday as day old. Or at least thats what happens at my TSC in Wisconsin.

And yes the sleep cycle is small. They will peep like crazy go all around then pass out for a few minutes.
