I have a 6.5 yr old chicken. She is turning a bit bluish around her face and cones. She has slept in the corner on the coop floor for three days. Today she is staying in there, she isn't eating, she did drink water yesterday. She really hasn't pooed much. My husband is a nurse at the hospital and works with people that are dieing. He says to me that he feels she is palliative. She is breathing heavy. I feel that this is probably it for her. She has had problems with respiratory for about a year now. A vet told me that he feels its possible she has a tumor which could cause her respiratory problems. Her nose keep plugging up. I have been continuously cleaning it.
