How to tell if a hen is broody?

I've got 4 Buff Orpingtons, 4 Brahmas, 2 Easter Eggers, and 1 each bantam Amerucauna, Silkie, Rhode Island Red, Plymouth Barred Rock, Salmon Faverolle, and white Leghorn. 4 of them are older, from a rescue flock I adopted a couple years ago... the rest are turning 1 in July-Aug from last summer's batch of chicks/ surprise hatching eggs.
Your most likely broodies are Orpington, Brahma, Silkie, and maybe the bantam Favorelle. As I said any of them can or it is possible none of them will, but I think you have a fair chance of getting at least one.

in my book, aggression toward humans, plus raping and killing hens is a first class ticket to freezer camp. 🙄
He needs to go. Lock him up until he is gone.
