How to tell male or female chicks?

I want to order a batch of banties this winter. I only want to keep 2 roos and 6 hens and sell the rest. Is it possible to tell male from female banties when they' re very young?

I could tell mine without a doubt at 3 weeks old if you have a mix it's easier to tell. Good luck

Unless you get a sex-link chicken and I don't think they come in bantam size but I could be wrong, the very earliest you'll be able to tell is between 4 and 6 weeks. Even then you might find a few surprise roos later on.
