Well Im recieving a reshipment of a few chicks I lost from Ideal... I dont know what to say to my mom, as she thinks I have too many already.... what should I tell her? should I wait until it gets closer to the shipment? They ship out 2 weeks from today. She let me get 5 chicks from TSC last night, so this is going to be a surprise for her (probably not a good one.)

That sounds like a perfect idea, the only problem is that she needs to drive me to the post office to get them!!

Okay this is probably not going to help you, but I as a mom would be proud of your hobby. At least you are not addicted to video games!

(like my brother)

Well I dont know why she is against me having alot, as I am paying for them.. Her opinion is that "Im going to be leaving for college in 4 years, and she doesnt want to have to take care of them when Im gone."

Let her know that you have a plan to make sure they are taken care of while you are gone - and then make sure you DO have a plan.

act completely suprised when you get to the post office to pick them up

maybe santa sent them as a late gift

I brought home duckings when I was living at home. But we already had 2 horses and llamas. So the sucks werent a shock for her. No the llama's and horses were not surprises.

Honestly. I could not imagine getting an animal unless I could actually drive myself to get them and what ever they needed. And my mom LOVES animals and is awesome about that kind of stuff.
