how wide apart should my roosts be..if we do a..

    horizontal (not up and down)...roost?...how far apart should the 2x4's be?....thanks, Wendy

    Thanks chickencop....12 inches..okay...i wasnt sure..i didnt want them pooping on each other if they were to close together...[​IMG]..and i dont wanna build this dang coop over again if i dont do it right the first time...[​IMG]...thanks,Wendy

    I put mine at 15" apart and 15" from the wall.

    I keep perches mine 15-18" apart. Keeps the girls from reaching over and pecking whoever is behind/infront of them. You may not have this problem. I have some older grouchy hens that only like certain ones around them.
