I live north of Houston Texas. The only chickens left I don't have but want is Araucanas but I want Bantams since that's what the rest of my birds are. I want TRUE Araucanas, NOT Amerucanas or EE's. Does anyone know where/who sells them? Preferably near me.

    They won't be True.

McMurray falsely uses the term. All they have is Easter Eggers.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I haven't found a hatchery yet that has 'true' Araucanas -- usually Ameriucanas or EE's. Which I may have to settle for.

Horstmanspoultry only has white and minimum order is 12 chicks. I don't want that many! Mypetchicken is either sold out until middle of the summer or don't even have their website updated to show expected hatches.

I have checked out all these leads so thanks for trying to help!

I've heard that 'true' Araucanas are extremely rare and hard to find. Good luck on your search!
