How would you know if a chicken had a ear infection?

    Just curious,of how would you know?How would they get them?I remembered discovering the ear.The small hole where that tuff of small feathers is right above the earlobe.Not anything like human years.But I was just curious.

    Definitely swelling - one of my girls had an ear infection this summer.

    Well my hens have had respiratory problens,but never actually got
    an ear infection from it.
    Im just curious.
