I'm pretty new to BYC and raising chickens. A friend of mine was moving and needed to sell her flock of pullets. I purchased her coop and dozen chickens back in Nov 2012.
We just got 5 chicks so that our two daughters (ages 5 and 3) could watch them grow up.
