Hi! New to chickens and the site, however I've been using it quite a bit to learn all about my little chicks. I have six Silver Lace Wyandottes, they're two weeks old. I will be selling eggs and produce from my garden as soon as they are old enough to lay. (I checked the ordinances and I'm all set.)

I'm starting on my coop soon, and I can't wait! My chicks are growing like weeds!

I'm interested in getting a few quail, one because their eggs are beautiful and I work with some sheep herders who would love the eggs to add to their breakfast.

I hope I'll continue to learn a lot here on BYC!

Check out the helpful articles in the Learning Center if you haven't already (there's a section on quail there too).

Best get going on that coop, those little balls of fluff grow fast!

[IMG] Welcome and congrats on getting your own flock.

NFC has given you the best advice - get real busy on that coop - you will need it ready in 3-4 weeks.

    Enjoy the forums.

Hi and welcome to BYC - hopefully, the Coops section should provide some inspiration for your build.

    All the best
