Hello everyone! My name is Melissa, and my family and I live on the fantastic Oregon Coast! We're planning on welcoming our first chicks (ever) this coming Wednesday. I know that this site will be a Godsend for a worrywart like myself.
We have coming a Barred Rock, an Araucana, a Bantam Silky, and a Brahma. They will be mostly pets, I'm sure, though I plan to have them free range in our gardens. I need help with bugs!! Eggs will be a nice bonus, though. I'm very excited, and we're ready for them. I can't wait to meet everyone. Have a good one!
