Hi! My husband has finally agreed to let the kids and I get a few backyard chickens! We're new to chicken raising but as a writer and former teacher I've been doing a TON of research. And I'll probably be on here a lot asking questions!

I'm in the DFW area so I'd love to find a local chicken keeping group to join as well!

Right now were looking at getting 4-5 EE's in early October! I'm looking forward to learning all about chicken keeping!
