Howdy All, I just joined and was referred to this site by a friend on another board. I was just given some baby chicks by a friend who lives on a res in CA. I have no idea about chickens as I have spent most of my life in uniform of one kind or another. This is my first experience with chickens and I hope to learn a lot from you all. We started with six but two of the little excape artists got away and disappeared into the brush without a peep so we couldn't find them. I hope they will come out when they hear the others.
