Howdy! I'm new in these parts...

Hi everyone! I am new to BYC and hope to learn a lot about our feathered friends.

Our family bought 4 Silver-Lace Wyandotte's about a week ago and are stoked to see what they will grow into. I believe we have four pullets, but one has a single comb starting? This weekend, we will be adding to our flock for "layers and meaters". These SLW are my "babies" aka spoiled pets and will be nothing but layers.

Anyone have any advice on what online sites they prefer to buy chicken supplies? Also, if there is anyone in the Austin area who can give advice, tips or tidbits - I'd love it!

You can post a shot of your chick in the What Breed or Gender section of the Forum, be sure to include a clear shot of the head and comb, for opinions on whether it is a Wyandotte
