Could tell me what killed a fowl?? One of the silkys was in the garden with her two 10 day old chicks, and now she is laying dead with out a head , all feathers gone from her neck, she was not eaten , just the head and one of the chicks is gone, no sign of her. Still got one . I have disposed coons, fox, and Farrell cats, but the guineas have been acting strange for two days, staying under cover.
    Thanks, Bobby, Marble Falls,TX

Sounds like a hawk. Our trapper friend said if there is no saliva or bit marks, it is probably a hawk.
