Huge ball on their foot

I have 2 chickens in my flock that have a big pimple looking thing on the middle of their one foot. They walk fine and act fine as well i just want to make sure its not too serious. Any advice is appreciated.

Do a search for bumblefoot. It is an abscess that will cripple them and is very difficult to get rid of.

Hello! This is gross, but if you lance it with a sterile needle, then the puss will come out, and then if you give your chickens some antibiotics in their water, your chicken will get better. (Not so sure I can do it, but I have a friend that has cured it.)
