Huge Eggs!

One of my sex link girls is laying really large eggs. She has laid a 3.1 and 3.2 oz. egg this week. Here are a few pics.I 've put some of their regular eggs beside them.

Those are BIG eggs!!! Are they from red or black sex links? My black sex links just start laying a few days ago, and their eggs are small!!! I know it will take awhile until they lay bigger eggs. How old are your sex links?

They are 5-1/2 month old red sex links. One of them started laying at 16 weeks, and 4 of them just over 18 weeks. One of them hasn't started laying yet, but I don't think it will be too long. Yes, they will get larger, as you can see.

Wow, those are some big eggs. You're going to need Jumbo egg cartons the way those girls are going.
