So, this is one of just three (out of 23) Silkie chicks to survive cross country shipping of eggs, a postal delay & humidity issues at lock down.
NV is 9 1/2 weeks old now and has had this growth from day one...yet it seems to be getting bigger. It hasn't caused any problems that I'm aware of, and nobody is picking on him. He eat, drinks, poops normal and is growing at the same rate as the others that are his age. He just looks like he has external testicles!
Has anyone ever seen anything like this?
What might it be?
I was hoping to use him as a breeder since he's the only Porcelain cockerel and I already have 2 Porcelain hens and another Porcelain pullet his age waiting to make beautiful babies when he gets old enough. Is this a bad idea?
Thank you all in advance. BTW...I know chicken anatomy and I
am aware these are NOT his testicles...it's just meant to bring humor to a weird situation.
