I have a newly hatched chick in a brooder by my bed but I have a really bad cold and was wondering if I could have a humidifier in the same room or if that would hurt that the chick. Also the chick has a little ball off his rear end that may be a unbilical hernia? Any other suggestions if not this? it was a little fresh at first but it is dried now, not too big and the chick is eating, drinking, pooping but what are the chances of survival? Its been a few days since she hatched. Also if it helps she is in a high walled aquarium. Thanks for the help.
