Humidity Spikes With More Chicks Hatching!

I'm at work or else I would search this on BYC. How do you maintain a 65-70% humidity with more and more chicks hatching?

As the chicks start to hatch, the humidity level in my bator usually goes up a bit more which is fine. If it goes lower, you can add a wet papertowel or something to give it a boost.

i was wondering that too. I just has a chick hatch, and the moisture from his shell bumped the humidity up.

Thats not uncommon, it shouldn't affect the eggs any.

I had mine bump to over 85% after chicks were hatching and many died. But 85% is extreme.

a 20% temporary spike is ok but really high spikes can be a issue.
