I'm at work or else I would search this on BYC. How do you maintain a 65-70% humidity with more and more chicks hatching?

As the chicks start to hatch, the humidity level in my bator usually goes up a bit more which is fine. If it goes lower, you can add a wet papertowel or something to give it a boost.

Ya, there are 7 hatched so far in mine and it spiked to 74%!

Thats not uncommon, it shouldn't affect the eggs any.

X2 it is normal and under normal conditions almost never effects the rest of the hatch. I have 120 in the bator now and when they start hatching the humidity does get pretty high but they just keep crackin and hatchin. really don't worry.

I had mine bump to over 85% after chicks were hatching and many died. But 85% is extreme.
