Hi!
This morning as I was moving a cinderblock in our 10 week old juvie pen, one of the hens got her foot caught under the cinderblock (read: I needed to be more careful and she came out of nowhere)
She has no external injuries, but now a few hours later is limping. She has let me touch and flex every toe and her whole leg, and again has no external injuries. She puts weight on it but limps and then looks at it like "what the heck is wrong".
Edited to add: When she is standing to eat, she keeps that foot in the air and moves it in a "grasping" motion. She also does appear to have a pink of pink coloration to the bottom of her toes, kinda like bruising.
We will keep a close eye on her, maybe I'm just looking for reassurance that she is just sore and no broken bones/internal injuries?
**and this is not bumble foot, just to get ahead of that probable cause**

we are of the same mind - leaving her be as she is eating and drinking and still alert and active. I will be watching her closely though and take some photos later tonight
