Hurt Rooster

Our rooster has been banging his head into our fence. And he has cut his comb and it is bleeding. Any suggestions on what to do? Thanks!

I have used bleed stop that is for stopping bleeding when you cut dog's nails too close. Why is he doing that? Is there hens or another roo he wants to get to?

Thank you for your reply. I don't know why he is doing it. He is in with 2 hens. They are RIR's almost a year old. He is mean as a snake. That's all I can figure.

* Corn starch pressed on it will clot and stop the bleeding-- MIGHT wanta keep some animal calming herbs handy, too if he's that much a terror. Make him easier to handle when need be. . . .
