Hi my name is Shantra and my husbands name is Nick. Growing up mu grandfather alwaus had chickens and fresh eggs. As a little girl I even got to raise one chick myself until she was full growm and ready to enter the flock. Ever since then I've wanted chickens of my own and last week we finally got 4 baby chicks of our own. We adore them and joined this group to get all the advice and info we can (along with my families knowledge) so we can raise a little happy healthy flock in our back yard.
