Husband wanted me to share pictures...

Anyone else's significant other go from not being fond of ducks to becoming a duck addict? I was out in the barn and my husband insisted that I take pictures of my juvenile drake from one of my breeding pairs this year. My husband kept saying "Look at his bill do you see that?! You need to show the duck people online!" I won't lie I'm also very excited about this guy and fingers crossed that next week's hatch will be successful. So "duck people online" here he is:

Your drake is gorgeous.

My partner hasn't made the progress that yours has. But he went from knowing nothing and being a, "those are your ducks," type of a person to a, "I heard Nettle talking about laying eggs this morning," type of person. So now we have conversations about duck conversations. Plus he knows about breeds and avian anatomy. I'm pretty proud.
