anybody know what kind of chicks would come from crossing a Red Jungle Fowl with any of the following..

    black star?

    Rhode island Red?

    Barred Plymouth Rock?

I wish there was an app or a website you could use to just input the type of birds and it would give you calculated answers to the resulting breed.

There are sites the act as a genetic calculator for crosses, if you search this site or google you can find them. If you can't find "red jungle fowl", use "brown leghorn", that will get most of the outcomes right.

The black stars and barred rocks will produce black chicks, the barred rocks should be black sex-links (males have a white dot on their head and grow up barred, like their mother). I'm not as certain about the RIR hens, but I suspect they will look a lot like the jungle fowl.
