I just ordered my first broilers- dh swears he will slaughter. Have had the layers a while, and want to try my hand at eating. Hope the chicken for dummies book tells me how to do this, if not, hanging here will teach me! YEAH!!!

Good for you!!! Out of curiosity, what breed(s) did you get for the meat birds?

- meyer is having their sale again- i saw it here last week, and signed up for email- so it is a meyer broiler at .98 cents. Works for me!
