I can only get medicated starter? brooder temp 4 geese?

What do you do if they only carry medicated starter.

The nearest place that carries unmedicated is 30 miles and then it's chick starter.

No waterfowl. Also wanted to know if temp is same for geese as chicks in the brooder?

i use lay mash for my baby ducks and geese temperture is the same as chicks

you can get layer crumbles and wet it a little for the first week. The layer crumbles are fine, all the TSC's and feed stores around here don't seem to have unmedicated duckie feed either and they give them layer crumbles.

If you can get flock raiser or unmedicated wild game bird/turkey feed, those work too.

Thanks guys, I went today to the feed store and they always had unmedicated got out to the car and looked at the tag and it was medicated went in and asked and they aren't gonna carry unmedicated anymore!

I have layer pellets but not mash if it comes to it and I can't find the other then I will just put the pellets in a plastic bag and smash them!!

That's the price you pay for living in the middle of nowhere I guess!!
